We are currently hiring an onsite IT Support Specialist in East Peoria

Shift/Pay/Location

  • Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Pay $22/h
  • Onsite - East Peoria, IL 61611

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement protocols and guidelines for the use of IT systems across various departments and projects.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on the most suitable IT solutions, technologies, and strategies to meet organizational needs and goals.
  • Deliver technical support, assistance, and training to end users for systems, networks, software, and hardware-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components, including printers, network cards, and other peripheral devices.
  • Monitor system and network performance to identify and proactively address potential issues, optimizing overall IT performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and data restoration tasks, promptly resolving IT incidents to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance activities, such as system backups, software updates, and license management, ensuring system integrity and compliance.

  • Must be a team player, organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize; must have outstanding people and communication skills for interaction with other team members, customers, and management
  • Ability to: read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
