What would you do as a Memory Care Program Specialist

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities tailored to meet the cognitive and physical needs of our memory care residents. You will be collaborating with the care team to ensure that each resident receives personalized care and attention. Your creativity will shine as you create a warm and welcoming environment for our residents. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing support and encouragement every step of the way.

What you need to be successful
  • To excel in this role, you'll need an associate or bachelor's degree in social work, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, or a related field.
  • Your two years of hands-on experience in facilitating activities for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's will be essential.
  • Additionally, having at least two years of supervisory experience in a comparable healthcare setting will set you up for success in this position.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using technology in the workplace is a must-have skill as well.
