Essential Duties:
- Field testing and sampling of Soils, Concrete & Asphalt materials
- Prepare daily reports, document inspection observations, and deliver accurate test results to project stakeholders
- Regularly interprets construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Routinely perform basic math calculations including addition, division, percentage & fractions
- Communicates effectively with clients, supervisors, and project personnel
- Valid Driver's license, company vehicles available
- Transportation to and from the primary office location
- Ability to read and interpret test standards, safety rules, technical procedures, and manuals
- Must be mature, and able to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people
- Must be proficient in basic writing and mathematical concepts such as percentage/ratios, multiplication, length/width/height/depth equations, and able to apply these concepts to practical situations
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs; Must be ambulatory and able to stand, walk, climb, crawl, and balance for sustained work; Must be dexterous and able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects/tools/controls. Must be able to operate dangerous hand tools and equipment with care
- Prior Inspection Certifications and Basic Computer literacy, a plus
- Able to provide own transportation to and from work
- Drug-free workplace
