Fulltime
Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm
Friday 5:30 am - 2:30 pm
Starting pay: $16/hr
1st shift

Shipping Clerk duties:• Packs and unpacks orders while maintaining the department schedule
• Effectively uses organizational skills while assembling
• Review the products to make sure it is to standard and quality
• Creates shipping labels and handles shipping information
•• Maintain the necessary paperwork
• Ability to meet physical demands and perform the essential job functions within the work environment identified in this job description

Shipping Clerk Requirements:
• Self-starter; willing to take initiative
• Organized
• Strong mathematical skills • Able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical Demands:
o While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and be able to move about in a manufacturing and fabricating environment.
o Operate computers, machinery, tools, vehicles, and industrial equipment and must have the ability to use hands to move, set up, adjust, assemble, control, test, operate, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
o Constantly communicate and exchange information with team members and must be able to effectively communicate correct information with vendors. o Read/comprehend, write, and communicate orally, reasoning and analytical abilities, and mental flexibility.
o Frequently move objects up to 60 pounds. o Use a hand truck to move loads up to 200 pounds. o The employee will constantly climb, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and reach above the shoulder when working with equipment, material loading and unloading, and other related tasks.
o Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to compare and distinguish material grades and administrative data. o Hearing ability to perceive the nature of sounds at a normal speaking level with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.

• Work Environment:
o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working indoors in a metal fabrication and manufacturing facility that has controlled environmental conditions. o Exposure to hazardous materials, extreme heat, and proximity to moving mechanical parts. o Requires wearing common protective and safety equipment. o Position may involve extended work hours. o Exposure to sound and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
