Currently there are openings for full-time CNC Operator II in our Machined Core division on the Weekend shift.Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:30AM to 6:30PMTraining will be during 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30AM to 2:30PM or 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 2:30PM to 12:30AMCNC Operator II: Starting at $24.62 per hour on the Weekend shift based on experience.Key Responsibilities: Exhibits strong technical aptitude and understanding of the CNC 5-axis machining operations. Gather material according to work order. Properly complete setup tasks which may include setting/identifying drills/endmills/cutters and other applicable tooling, part layout, fixture layout (if applicable), vacuum table utilization/proper vacuum level, pre-running program cycle prior to running production parts and validating it is acceptable to run production. Basic understanding of G and M codes. Load and edit (if necessary) CNC program. Select proper fixture of build fixture for job. Carry out tasks such as routing and drilling on the mill safety. Perform required quality checks before, during and after machining utilizing blueprints, calipers, height gage, etc. Interpret and follow work schedules and advice if there are issues. Assist other departments as necessary. Maintain CNC equipment and tooling. Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery. Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods. Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance. Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 1 year of CNC experience required. Strong attention to detail Ability to work overtime. Requirements:Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
