The Anti‑Human Trafficking Case Manager is a grant‑funded position that provides intensive case management services to survivors of human trafficking that is trauma‑informed, client‑centered, and uses a human rights-based approach. The Case Manager will work with members of the Eastern District of Missouri Human Trafficking Task Force and community partners to provide comprehensive services to all survivors of human trafficking.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma‑informed and client‑centered case management services to domestic and foreign‑born survivors of human trafficking including, but not limited to, emergency response, crisis intervention, creation of individualized service plans, advocacy, safety planning, assistance applying for public benefits, and making community referrals.

  • Participation in the Eastern District of Missouri Human Trafficking Task Force meetings and activities.

  • Provide advance training on victim identification and provision of appropriate service provision for human trafficking survivors.

  • Conduct outreach and participate in public awareness events.

  • Maintain accurate and appropriate case documentation and assist with documentation for required grant reporting.

  • Builds relationships with other organizations and programming in the service area in order to meet participant needs in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with Grant partners to ensure grant goals are accomplished.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of human trafficking.

  • Must be comfortable with public speaking and conducting outreach.

  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.

  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team as necessary.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and organization's information.

  • Must be meticulous, but able to maintain a balanced perspective in rapidly changing circumstances.

  • Ability to work productively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for differences.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft and Microsoft 365.


Other:

  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation as may be needed in performance of duties.

  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

  • Position can require some overnight travel.


Education and Experience

  • MSW preferred

  • BSW (or degree in relevant field)

  • Multi‑lingual preferred
