New Perspectives Center is an outpatient mental health counseling agency. We have 12 employees and 30 contractors, which include licensed counselors (LCSW, LPC, and LMFT) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).
New Perspectives Center realizes the strength of our practice is our exceptional staff. We seek a Clinical Supervisor Full-Time Hybrid position in Salem, Oregon.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education and work experience.
Requirements:
- Licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner, social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist
- Three years of post-graduate clinical experience in behavioral healthcare
- Expertise in comprehensive whole-person treatment models for addictions and mental health
- Training or experience with trauma-informed care and trauma-specific services
- Adheres to professional ethical standards
- Competence in leadership
Clinical Supervision Duties:
- Assists Director and Clinical Director with clinical management
- Promotes agency commitment to trauma-informed care/services to support and build resiliency, recovery, and hope
- Provides quarterly face-to-face supervision of issues with supervisees as needed
- Provides twice monthly group Case Consult and coordinates quarterly Child Case Consult
- Monitor attendance at Group Case Consult to ensure OAR requirement is met. Contact contractors as needed
- Review completed Chart Content Review forms. Notify contractors of feedback or needed changes and monitor whether those changes were completed. Notify contractors of delinquent reviews.
- Coordinate Critical Incident reporting. Educate staff of Critical Incident Policy/Procedure, inform CCO of Critical Incidents, review Critical Incidents and HER associated with Critical The incident, review Critical Incident at Case Consult and Quality Committee, write up recommendations associated with Critical Incident, inform CCO of recommendations, Maintain critical Incident Log.
Administrative Duties:
- Creates an atmosphere of wellness and promotes open communication with staff
- Responsible for QA and QI activities
- Monitor OARs
- Make changes in policy/procedures as needed
- Write a Quality Improvement Plan for New Perspectives. Update progress on QIP, at least quarterly.
- Attend the CCO Clinical Quality Committee Meeting. Disseminate information from that meeting as needed.
- Meet at least quarterly with the Quality Improvement Committee
- Attend regional Collective Medical meeting
- Assist with Collective Medical alerts, as needed
- Gather statistics for CCO reports of Metabolic Monitoring and Co-Occurring Disorders
- Work with the Director on complaints and file requested reports with required agencies on complaints. Meet with CCO or complainant, as requested, regarding complainants
- Disseminated education/training information, as needed
- Attend and present at Quarterly Staff meetings
- Review and monitor HER as needed
- Provide Clinical and Ethical advice, as requested by contractors
