The Lutheran Home has an opening for a Full-time housekeeper to work in our retirement community, Saxony Village.  The right candidate should be warm and welcoming and provide exceptional and detail-oriented housekeeping services.  Come join us in our mission to create a grace-filled community where residents can enjoy vibrant, dignified living at every stage of life.

Typical tasks include, but are not limited to: 

  • Maintains cleanliness in the resident apartments or duplexes. 
  • Clean the common areas of Saxony Manor.
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and trash removal.
  • Performs specific daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks as assigned.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplied and equipment are properly maintained and used according to safety guidelines.
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere within the community.
In this Full-time position you will enjoy daytime hours working 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with a rotating weekend schedule and take part in our many benefits including:

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
