Descripción del puesto:

El Director de Finanzas ocupa una posición crítica dentro de nuestro hotel, supervisando todas las funciones contables y financieras para garantizar el éxito financiero del hotel. Reportando directamente tanto al Gerente General como al Vicepresidente de Finanzas, este rol es responsable de brindar orientación financiera, apoyo y experiencia al equipo del hotel. El Director de Finanzas desempeña un papel clave en la maximización de beneficios, la protección de los activos del hotel y la implementación de controles financieros y procedimientos efectivos.

Responsabilidades:

  • Gestión Financiera: Gestionar todos los requisitos contables y financieros del hotel, incluida la elaboración de presupuestos, pronósticos, gestión de flujo de efectivo y análisis financiero.
  • Planificación Estratégica: Desarrollar estrategias y planes financieros para respaldar los objetivos generales del hotel, trabajando en estrecha colaboración con el Gerente General y otros jefes de departamento.
  • Informes y Análisis: Preparar informes financieros precisos y oportunos, incluidos estados financieros mensuales, análisis de variaciones y métricas de rendimiento. Proporcionar análisis e recomendaciones perspicaces a la gerencia basadas en datos financieros.
  • Controles y Cumplimiento: Establecer y mantener controles internos efectivos para proteger los activos del hotel y garantizar el cumplimiento de regulaciones financieras y políticas hoteleras.
  • Mejora de Procesos: Identificar oportunidades para optimizar procesos financieros y mejorar la eficiencia. Desarrollar e implementar mejores prácticas para los procedimientos de contabilidad y control financiero.
  • Desarrollo de Equipos: Liderar, orientar y desarrollar al equipo financiero, fomentando una cultura de responsabilidad, profesionalismo y mejora continua.
  • Apoyo Financiero: Brindar apoyo y orientación financiera a jefes de departamento y gerentes, ayudando en la elaboración de presupuestos, pronósticos y toma de decisiones financieras.
  • Gestión de Proveedores: Supervisar contratos y relaciones con proveedores, negociando términos favorables y garantizando el cumplimiento de acuerdos contractuales.

Requisitos:

  • Experiencia comprobada (mínimo 3 años) en gestión de cuentas por pagar y cuentas por cobrar, preferiblemente en un rol de supervisión.
  • Amplio entendimiento de principios contables y regulaciones financieras.
  • Proficiencia en software de contabilidad (por ejemplo, ADP, Profit Sword, PAS, SUN, Black Line, OnTrack) y Microsoft Excel.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales, con capacidad para interactuar de manera efectiva con partes internas y externas.
  • Fuertes habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas, con gran atención al detalle.
  • Capacidad para priorizar tareas, cumplir con plazos y trabajar eficientemente en un entorno de ritmo rápido.

Educación y Experiencia:

  • Se requiere Licenciatura en Contabilidad, Finanzas, Economía o campo relacionado.
  • Se requieren como mínimo 7 años de experiencia en Finanzas de Administración Hotelera o Resort.
  • Experiencia previa como controlador o Director de Finanzas también es requerida.
