FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: This position will diagnose and repair drain issues and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. Work with other multiple departments to inspire efficient and effective communication and ensure a job is done right.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate Aquarius’ Core Values at a high level.
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
  • Execute drain-cleaning work in a clean, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Build and present options ethically for both repairs and permanent solutions.
  • Respectfully work with dispatch, managers, and other in-house staff to ensure smooth operation for completed and incomplete jobs.
  • Ensure proper billing, invoicing, and daily documenting of activities.
  • Maintain company-provided vehicle and inventory of parts, tools, and shop equipment.
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside, and out.
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
  • Properly complete paperwork.
  • Join the on-call rotation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises and meetings, which allows you to grow and develop as a professional.
  • Strong desire to be a better technician tomorrow than you are today.
  • Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.
  • Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
  • 1+ years of experience in drain cleaning.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving and criminal record.
  • Must be able to pass background checks.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50+ pounds.
  • Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely.
  • Must be highly detailed and demonstrate the ability to follow through.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and has a great attitude on life.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to multi-task and problem-solve with a sense of urgency.
  • Punctual and prepared to work before the scheduled start time.
  • Clean presentation of self and vehicle.
