Office Assistant- Construction Landscape Department

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Construction Operations Manager with administrative and clerical duties, including entering work and purchase orders into Quickbooks.
  • Communicate with construction personnel to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
  • Coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Utilize computers for various applications, such as database management, word processing, and document creation.
  • Manage paper and electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, and maintaining documents.
  • Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems, and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Strong knowledge of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware and software, including applications and program use.
