JOB SUMMARY:
Associate Project Manager assists in project management tasks, including planning, coordination, and implementation. Supports project teams, tracks progress, and communicates with stakeholders. Assists in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in identifying impactful partners, monitoring subcontractors, and coordinating special projects.
- Aid in developing and implementing the Annual Plan, tracking program outcomes, and monitoring data in the LEARN system.
- Support community building activities, sustainability planning, and fundraising efforts.
- Oversee staffing and management of a community, work flexible hours, manage project budgets, and present reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in program meetings and perform other administrative duties as needed.
- Providing resources and knowledge for clients to access capital, including loans for financial goals like housing and consumer products, to build credit, reduce debt, and support wealth growth through entrepreneurship.
- Offering consultation services in financial management and goal-setting.
- Hosting in-person and virtual seminars for clients seeking financial literacy management resources and capital access.
- Supporting and promoting the development of the USI CDFI client base.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- One year of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit or human services, including project management, partnership oversight, and team supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and design programs based on resident-driven and data-driven rationale.
- Must maintain confidentiality and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and passion for community building are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other software required.
