Responsibilities:

  • Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete items for disposition.
  • Collaborate with procurement team to ensure accurate inventory forecasting and timely procurement of goods.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory management processes.
  • Analyze purchase orders (POs) and procurement processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain PO process documentation, including workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve PO discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Generate reports and metrics on inventory performance, PO processing times, and vendor performance.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on inventory management and PO processing procedures.
