Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and organized Vaccine Coordinator (VC) to oversee the planning, implementation, and management of our vaccine distribution program. The Vaccine Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and equitable distribution of vaccines to eligible individuals, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and monitoring vaccine inventory and administration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to public health efforts and support the community in the fight against infectious diseases.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, healthcare administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in public health, healthcare administration, or vaccine management, with demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Knowledge of vaccine distribution, cold chain management, and vaccine administration best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data reporting tools.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in vaccine distribution efforts.
- Certification in vaccine management, public health, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Vaccine Distribution Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for vaccine distribution, including allocation, storage, transportation, and administration logistics.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with public health agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to coordinate vaccine distribution efforts and ensure alignment with public health guidelines and priorities.
- Vaccine Administration Oversight: Oversee vaccine administration sites and operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, vaccination schedules, and documentation requirements.
- Staff Training and Supervision: Train and supervise vaccine administration staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and volunteers, to ensure proper vaccine handling, administration techniques, and patient education.
- Community Outreach and Education: Develop and implement outreach and education initiatives to promote vaccine awareness, address vaccine hesitancy, and ensure equitable access to vaccines for all eligible populations.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vaccine inventory, distribution, and administration, and generate reports to track progress, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the safety, efficacy, and integrity of vaccine distribution and administration processes, including cold chain management and vaccine storage protocols.
- Emergency Response Preparedness: Develop contingency plans and protocols to respond to emergencies, vaccine shortages, adverse events, and other unforeseen circumstances that may impact vaccine distribution and administration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements from regulatory agencies, such as the CDC, FDA, and state health departments.

Compensation | Min: $57,000 Max: $72,000
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
