Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that incoming shipments are managed efficiently, and supporting load-in and load-out activities with the use of hoists. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and be coachable, allowing them to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision & Management: Oversee all warehouse operations, including managing staff, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders.
  • Load-In/Load-Out Assistance: Assist in the physical handling of goods, including the use of hoists and other equipment to load and unload shipments.
  • Shipment Coordination: Ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Manage inventory levels and maintain proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Leadership & Coaching: Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Provide training, mentorship, and support to warehouse staff.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse equipment, including hoists.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Coachable and open to feedback for continuous improvement.
