Role Overview:

RTM is looking for a BIM / Revit coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for BIM innovations and will contribute to the development and implementation of BIM support throughout our projects as well as create efficiencies. Projects will consist of both new construction and renovations of different scales and scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up Revit models for all projects
• Create and establish engineering families, templates, details and schedules
• BIM coordination with client
• Final check of all projects for quality assurance
• Assist project teams in BIM project setup and model management
• Create, coordinate, and maintain templates for internal and client use
• Troubleshooting day-to-day bugs, fixes, issues, etc.
• Select proper hardware to keep improving production
• Implement changes and updates to Revit users
• Continuous research of new BIM solutions
• Collaborate with the design team and other departments to identify goals and communicate procedural changes

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of engineering drafting standards in multiple disciplines
• 2+ years experience in design, drafting or engineering production for MEP systems
• Superior AutoCAD and BIM/Revit knowledge
• A high school diploma required, with a 2-year degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Excellent communication, training and leadership skills

Travel Requirements:

• Travel is anticipated between 0-10%
