Position Summary:
Apply consultative and leadership skills to build high rapport with RSI customers and team members. Perform an expert security advisory role to clients, conduct security/compliance assessments and prepare high-quality reports (including gap analysis, recommendations, and remediation planning). Provide compliance and security program oversight to RSI customer executives including kickoff/status meetings, report presentations, remediation planning, and ongoing SME guidance.

Essential Functions:

  1. Utilize strong consultative skills leadership acumen and technical expertise to provide expert security advisory consulting to RSI customers.
  2. Directly perform with information security assessments
Required Education and Experience: 
  • 10+ years’ experience in cybersecurity consulting or information systems audit.
  • 5+ years’ experience as an Information Security Executive (Director Information Security, Director of Audit, Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Information Officer)
  • Security Certifications (CISA, CIA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP)
  • Security assessment experience with: Application security, Information systems security, Network security, IT security auditing, Information security risk assessment or risk management.
  • Advanced degree in technology related field
  • Expert knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) and Microsoft Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and evaluate current and new tools
  • Self-starter who can work independently with a proactive attitude
Preferred Education and Experience: 
  • 2+ years of experience in performing assessments or implementing a security program
  • Security Certifications (CISA, CIA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP)
  • Any other memberships / training / etc. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
100% Remote. RSI Security’s business hours are Monday through Friday, 8a - 5p PST. This is a contract (1099) position. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70 - $80/hr, and based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must submit to a background check as a contingency for the position. 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable):
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Each candidate is required to comply with federal and local laws and authorization will be checked through E-Verify.
