SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Associate Solution Consultant – QA focused role involves participating in requirements gathering and process mapping sessions to understand and test complex system functionalities through unit, feature, and end-to-end testing. It includes writing and maintaining test cases, system documentation, and managing software installations and configurations to align with project requirements. Additionally, the position requires demonstrating progress to stakeholders, integrating system components, and providing feedback on design elements, all while working under the guidance of a Project Manager and experienced Solution Consultants.

ASSOCIATE ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand complex system functionality to perform unit testing, feature testing, and end-to-end system testing.
  • Write test cases for new or updated features and functionality.
  • Review and understand release notes regarding new system functionality.
  • Conduct system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Write and maintain system documentation.
  • Demonstrate to the customer and/or team the progress of the solution and collect feedback on work completed.
  • Attend requirements gathering sessions, process mapping sessions, and workshops with other Solution Consultants, as directed.
  • Install software and create the configuration of the software to meet the requirements of the solution.
  • Help design and/or provide feedback regarding screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
  • Work underneath the guidance of Project Manager and other Solution Consultants to meet project objectives.
  • Other related tasks an determined by the Project Manager or team Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ year of experience doing business analysis, solution consulting, or system testing.
