Job Summary:
The Trimmer/Package Assembler I is responsible for confirming the quality of the doors, visual inspection, and insuring the materials are ready for shipment by making any needed modifications. They trim the part to shape and form to the size following the model and utilizing a power saw or power grinder or power sander to smooth the edges and rough surfaces of the part.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Shape, trim, and assemble wood or metal to alter and repair doors
* Set up machinery such as table saw, overhead routers, drill press, hinge boring machine, chop and cut off saws.
* General clean-up of cabinets and millwork (such as sanding, cleaning, etc.)
* Handle and storage of material
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous experience in warehouse or shipping
* Experience with Shipping systems
* Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs
* Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion throughout a shift
