The Inventory Control Specialist will play a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient flow of materials in our manufacturing facility.
Responsiblities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software/systems.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and components.
  • Analyze inventory levels and usage patterns to optimize inventory stocking levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between inventory records and physical inventory counts.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, loss, and damages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory management processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory performance, trends, and variances.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.


The Ideal Candidate Should Have....
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in inventory control or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
