Job Details:

  • Title: Project Assistant
  • Type: Contract
  • Location: Hybrid schedule in Washington, DC
  • Pay Rate: $21-24/hr
  • Length: 4-5 months
  • Background Check: Yes

Candidate profile and qualifications

  • Experience in – 2+ years of professional experience within a nonprofit setting
  • Proficient in – Microsoft Office Suite
  • Soft Skills – attention to detail, strong communication skills, professional
  • Education – Preferred, not required; experience can compensate

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and strategic support on programmatic initiatives.
  • Support timeline management and assist with meeting target deliverables on schedule.
  • Manage project reports, including working with Excel and internal databases
  • Coordinate meetings amongst internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain routine correspondence with project funders, partners and other stakeholders.
