Mid - SeC/Dev/Ops System Administrator

S2Technologies is currently seeking a DevOps System Administrator to join our team. The qualified candidate will have several years of IT experience. The successful candidate will apply their existing skills to support our nation's security missions with secure communications.

Job Duties and Role

  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
  • Analyze, assign, and deploy cloud based resources
  • Improve and maintain the infrastructure behind our continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Discover, analyze, and troubleshoot anomalous application behaviors. Deploy monitoring and infrastructure tools
  • Create, design, deploy and maintain the infrastructure architecture required to support the mission
  • Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified and unclassified network environment
  • Perform Software installation and setup
  • Provide Linux enterprise administration
  • Have the ability to support hardening systems to be in compliance with DoD RMF policies
  • Support performance monitoring including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability
  • Perform security monitoring and maintaining security patches and updates
  • Work with VMs operating on various networks
  • Assess and maintain storage related tasks for performance and backup

  • Virtualization
  • System patching and upgrades
  • System configuration maintenance
  • Security controls and remediation
  • Experience with scripting to support or write deployment scripts
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Knowledge in GitLab based CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol
  • Knowledge of restful architecture

Experience:

  • 4 or more years of software experience required
  • Working knowledge of required tools/technologies

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent work experience

Certifications:

  • Security+ CE or equivalent for IAT Level II

Security Clearance:

  • US Citizen
  • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Position will require a successful poly

Location:

  • Onsite in the Hanover, MD area
