Accounting Manager

Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.This exciting opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role at a new Managing General Agency (MGA) in Roswell, GA. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you'll lead all aspects of finance and accounting, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO on financial matters impacting the entire business.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire accounting cycle, from cash applications to month-end close.
Manage general ledger (GL) maintenance and ensure its accuracy.
Perform and reconcile monthly financial statements.
Oversee subledger accounting for accurate financial reporting.
Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts.
Prepare bordereaux (insurance reports) with meticulous detail.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in the insurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of bordereaux preparation and analysis.
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to flourish in a startup environment.
