The Crimp and Prepare Technician specializes in high volume, fast termination processes for basic Audio and Video

cable termination. Crimp and Prepare Technicians are encouraged to take ownership of their work, manufacturing a

high quality product in a timely manner. Effective communication with the department Team Leader will

continuously establish and improve quality in production. On-The-Job Training will be performed by the C-SHOP

Team Leader. Tower Products Incorporated provides employees with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment,

tools and procedures for the processing of coaxial and other types of cables.

Crimp and Prepare Technician Responsibilities:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Committed to quality
  • Prior experience in soldering or hand tool assembly work
  • Knowledge of basic cable assembly and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to review and process formal work order assignments/associated Bill of Materials
  • Ability to kit the cable, connectors or components in accordance to the B.O.M.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all guidelines for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), tool use, etc.
  • Consistently demonstrate excellent organizational skills, ability to access information from the computer system, attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication and the ability to effectively manage time
  • Safety conscience
  • Able to lift up to 75lbs (utilizing safe lifting practices)

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Mon – Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm

Starting Pay: $17.00 hourly
