Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Relief Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Relief Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient recovery
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as surgeries, dental procedures, and blood draws
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
  • Stock and manage clinic supplies, including medications, equipment, and consumables
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary technician certification or license preferred
  • At least two years of prior veterinary technician experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and restrain patients as needed
