Join our compassionate team as a Director of Nursing and make a profound impact on our organization. We're seeking an experienced leader who is passionate about team-building, collaboration, and promoting excellence and well-being. As our Director of Nursing, you'll set a high standard for nursing excellence, leveraging your operational expertise to establish efficient systems and manage workflows effectively. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing quality assurance and safety measures while delivering exceptional nursing care to medically complex infants, children, and adults requiring continuous nursing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture cohesive nursing teams through mentorship and collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain lean operational systems to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to elevate quality assurance and safety standards.
  • Provide compassionate and expert nursing care to medically complex patients.
  • Exercise a high degree of independence and autonomy in making critical decisions that consider professional liability risks.
  • Implement long-term solutions for continuous improvement in operations, nursing practices, and patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, CHAP accreditation standards, and contractual obligations of the organization.
  • Update or initiate new policies and procedures as required to maintain compliance and enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in nursing leadership roles, ideally as a Director of Nursing or Director of Clinical Services.
  • Strong operational background with a track record of implementing effective systems. Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and patient care.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
