Job DescriptionJob Description

SynergenX is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team to service the Houston, San Antonio and Austin Clinics with a home base at corporate office in Houston, Texas The Logistics Maintenance Specialist is responsible for keeping all SynergenX clinics within their region clean, safe, and functional. The Logistics Maintenance Specialist will also perform more specialized duties such as installing new equipment or fixtures, repairing broken equipment, and even handling emergency situations such as water leaks within the clinics. They will perform, coordinate, and provide an extensive level of support to the Clinical Operations Department to work more efficiently and effectively towards reaching the organization's growth goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
  • Performs routine maintenance on building systems, Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance with approval from Operations
  • Assists in maintaining and repairing HV/AC controls and associated equipment to maximize efficiency levels in all environmentally controlled areas
  • Documents facilities maintenance requirements; keeps proper records of work performed
  • Manage the process of scheduling the repair and maintenance of the organization's vehicles involved in product transport
  • Assist the operation team with new clinic openings. Assist the operation team with inventory
  • Investigate inventory divergence, resolve issues and update database to replicate property movement. Use a computer to track product shipments across multiple channels. Manage the process of scheduling the repair and maintenance of the organization's vehicles involved in product transport
  • Take on tasks to support operations and overall mission. Work as a member of the team, willingly providing back‐up support for co‐workers when appropriate and actively supporting group goals.
  • Respond to emergencies- serving as the primary contact for all facility related emergencies (Including but not limited to fire alarms, HVAC system alarms, security alarms, etc). Includes monitoring and responding to building security/fire system alarms which may require work even during off work hours, weekends and holidays.
  • Assist in warehouse with inventory management, PO's and receiving shipments
  • Manage preventive maintenance contracts (including monitoring and coordinating PM schedules) for the HVAC, elevator, alarms and other facility equipment or installed systems, pest control etc
  • Perform facility inspections, prepare and submit reports of conditions in the building and recommend actions to be taken and then complete actions needed to have the facility at peak performance levels.
  • Work with the Operations Specialist to ensure office and facilities are at a level that will allow office operations to run efficiency
  • Assists and serves as back up to other Facilities employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree)

Minimum 3-4 years' experience in general building maintenance. Healthcare facility maintenance/Apartment maintenance STRONGLY preferred.

Knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Clear criminal background and no prior driving violations in the past 3 years.

Must be willing to travel to all clinics in San Antonio, Houston and Austin area

Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds.

TRAVEL

Travel is required for this role within the Houston/San Antonio/Austin SynergenX and Low T Clinics. 50% Travel position with company card provided. Hotel, flight accommodations and the daily allotted per diem will be provided.
