• You believe in the value of athletics as a means to teach and model the principles of fair play, teamwork, good sportsmanship, effort, and self-improvement.
• You have the knowledge and experience to teach basketball skills, lead practices and conditioning for individuals and a team.
• You are passionate about the area that you are coaching and have knowledge and experience with teaching basketball skills and teamwork.
• You love basketball and are eager to develop your students’ love for it too.
• You are professional, responsible, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues.  
• You are able to start immediately. 

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

• Ensure compliance with the rules, regulations, and expectations of the CIF and BACSAC.
• Oversee all practices and games and supervise the athletes in their use of all facilities.
• Responsible for the care, issuing, collection, storage and inventory of all equipment and

uniforms used in the program.

• Submit to the AD a complete, cleared roster of team members and full season schedule.
• Assist in the prevention and care of injuries. 
• Follow the appropriate procedures for budget, purchasing, and transportation.
• Ensure that all school disciplinary policies are followed.
• Act as liaison between the school and parents, AD and Leadership.
• Coordinate any banquets, awards or honors with the Athletic Director.
• Maintain a relationship with athletes based on mutual respect and trust.
