Job Summary

The Lead Software Developer will have a good foundation in web development and object-oriented design. This job requires development in every area of the stack (SQL, REST Services, C# .NET Core, Bootstrap, and Vue.js on MS Azure). We are looking for individuals who are passionate about web application development and applying their experiences and the latest technologies to improve our product lines.


Role and Responsibilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and should demonstrate the following competencies to consistently perform the essential functions of this position. All employees are expected to adhere to and be knowledgeable of Orion180 operations standards, established security/safety rules and requirements for attendance.   • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
  • Build REST endpoints in C# and .NET Core.
  • Build Linq and SQL queries.
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards.
  • Work well and professionally on an Agile Scrum Team with others team members.
  • Strong leadership skillls
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task lead.
  • Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in software development, should have hands on coding, programming experience (as opposed to managing developers, etc.).
  • Meet or exceed sprint commitments.


Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science
  • Min (10) years’ experience developing web applications, familiarity software development methodology and release processes.
  • Technical experience with C#, .NET Core, Linq, and EF
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
  • Front end knowledge with Vue.js and Bootstrap is a plus but not required
  • Ability to document requirements and specification.
