Job Overview: The primary function of the Field Repair Service Technician is to repair equipment in the field for our petroleum and propane divisions. Must have a valid Chauffeur License This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the department manager.Primary Duties:
  • Drive necessary equipment and vehicles as required.
  • Able to run equipment including trenching machines.
  • Able to diagnose and repair petroleum and propane equipment. (Training provided)
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Submit all reports, special projects, daily paperwork and information in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit good time management.
  • Able to use handheld tablet and/or smart phone for time and equipment tracking.
  • Perform any duties as may be assigned and operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.  
  • Regular and reliable attendance. Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Experience/Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of position related experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Work well with tools and testing equipment.
  • Valid Chauffeur License.
  • Pass 7-year criminal background check.
