Job Summary:
Classic Ford - Shelby is looking for an experienced Used Car Director to lead our used car sales team. This individual contributor role is dedicated to creating a profitable and rewarding sales environment through the growth of used car sales.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Used Car Director will receive a competitive salary, with the potential for performance-based bonuses. Classic Ford - Shelby also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, vacation time, and a 401k match.

Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and leadership to the used car sales team, including staff training, setting team and individual goals, and holding employees accountable to said goals.
• Track and analyze used car market trends to effectively market and price used cars in the dealership.
• Identify and resolve areas of process inefficiency within the sales process to ensure the customer experience is satisfactory.
• Optimize inventory management processes to minimize risk of stock loss and maximize profit.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on vehicle sales, customer satisfaction, and customer retention.
• Stay abreast of competitor activities and customer demand to respond to customer needs and desires effectively.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in used car sales management in the auto industry.
• A high energy and positive attitude with an eagerness to exceed established goals.
• A good driving record, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel as needed.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
