Quality Inspector

Overview: Since 1977, Echelon Supply and Service has been a leading supplier of hoses and hose assemblies for commercial and military applications throughout the world. Echelon is seeking an entry-level Quality Inspector, who will assist the Quality department with the day-to-day tasks of the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications, to perform inspections on a variety of products including hose assemblies and government kits
• Use measurement tools to determine compliance with the hose order specifications and quality control standards
• Review all paperwork done by Production staff, to ensure correct components were used to build hose orders
• Label all completed orders, while simultaneously cross-checking paperwork again for accuracy
• Maintain records and documentation of the quality activities, assuring accuracy
• Other assigned duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Prior machine shop experience is preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and good math skills required
• Ability to interact well with various departments within the organization

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail
• Works well in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook
