Quality Inspector

The Quality Assurance Inspector will provide quality assurance throughout all phases of the production process beginning with raw materials and ending with the final product.

Pay:

$19.00 per hour

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00am until 4:30pm

Essential job duties:

• Follows QMS procedures and adheres/assists in keeping the Inspection Department compliant with all ISO/AS9102 requirements on a continuing basis
• Reads blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards Interacts regularly and communicates with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering and Production staff members informing them of any changes, adjustments, missed procedural steps or problems

Required Qualifications:

• Familiar in using measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings
• Experienced with MS Office Excel & Word
• Ability to communicate effectively through talking and listening
• Mobility to perform physical activities
• Ability to effectively use the measurement tools: calipers, scale, duro gage, planar to precisely review ID, OD, height, length, CMM dimensions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Steel toe boots/shoes
• Ability to work a schedule that varies

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma
• Technical school education with mathmatics emphasis is preferred
