Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the Sr Digital Marketing Strategy Manager in executing all aspects of the global digital marketing strategy. This individual will serve as the expert in social media marketing- content production & publication, community management & engagement, and KPI reporting. This individual also needs some experience/understanding in other digital marketing channels- web (SEO, landing pages builds, content management, etc.), email marketing and an understanding of email automation. These efforts will be executed to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote awareness of the Safeguard Medical Brand. This role will work onsite in our Huntersville HQ.
Essential Job Functions
- Development, curation, and deployment of compelling online content (social, blog, email) to attract, engage, and retain visitors to SafeguardMedical.com and promote product sales
- Manage social media communities, including responsive engagements with our profiles & active engagement within our customer communities
- Establish relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other members of the digital communities within our market segments to promote the Safeguard Medical Brand
- Build regular social media & digital marketing reporting with actionable results
- Assist Sr Manager in maintaining company websites; utilizing search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to website
- Assist Sr Manager in the implementation and management of email marketing campaigns & customer communications
- Identify insights from competitor research, online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance and budget
- As a member of the Creative Services Marketing team, contribute to project and department milestones/goals outside of specific areas of responsibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- At least 1 year proven experiencing designing, executing and measuring all types of digital campaigns
- At least 1 year of proven experience in marketing/advertising products
- Experience designing, delivering and analyzing successful social media campaigns
- Proficient experience with the following: Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel), Facebook business, Instagram business, social media publishing & analysis tools, Canva/Adobe Express or another kind of quick content creation tool
- Some experience with: web CMS like Wordpress, email marketing tools like ActiveCampaign, SEO tools

Physical Requirements
