Job Title: Distributor Sales Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distributor Sales Consultant to join our team at Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our business by developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, including the use of social media and digital platforms.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers, including product knowledge, training, and technical assistance.
  • Collaborate with our vendor partners to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and market data.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other company events to stay informed and aligned with company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with emphasis on consultative selling.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and visual merchandising.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
