Position Summary: This position involves the responsibilities of a recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation. Developing and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process. Handle administrative duties and recordkeeping. Collect data on cost per hire and time-to-hire. Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop and execute recruiting plans.
•Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting internet sites, providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits.
•Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.
•Develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process.
•Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
•Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
•Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
•Conduct and submit background checks.
•Send offer and denial letters.
•Handles all recruiting for DLC and CCCS.
•Handles Onboarding for DLC and CCCS.
•Ensures all new hire paperwork has been completed /saved.
•Completes verification of employment for current and past employees.
•Completes/Returns unemployment claims.
•Benefit enrollment and update address changes.
•Assisting Employees with Questions and Concerns.
•Update JD in DLC Format.
•Ensuring DLC is compliant with all employment laws and regulations.
•Manage confidential information.
•Regular and consistent attendance.
•Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Education and/or Experience:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•Knowledge of employment law.
•Five years experience in Human Resources.


Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Recruiting Skills
Communication skills: Recruiters communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads. They must also be able to communicate with potential job candidates.
•Interpersonal skills: Recruiters must have the ability to work with various departments on filling open positions and fostering teamwork. They must also be able to effectively deal with potential candidates.
Decision-making skills: Recruiters must be able to review candidates' applications and decide whether they meet the qualifications to be considered for positions.
Reliability: When using a recruiter, a company is relying on them to find the best possible candidate for a given position. A great recruiter needs to be reliable and meet the needs of the company and the candidate at the same time.
Multitasking skills: Hiring is a lengthy process, and there is quite a lot between posting a job ad and filling an open position.
Teamwork skills: Whether working externally or internally, recruiters need to function within a team to find the best employees for an organization.
Discretion: Like most human resources positions, recruiters often deal with confidential information.
