Distribution Centers* *This role supports the Distribution Center network and can sit within any of our Distribution Center locations: Aberdeen, Maryland; Salt Lake CIty, Utah; Olive Branch, Mississippi, or Las Vegas, Nevada Your Role at Sephora: The Manager, Talent Acquisition for Distribution Centers will in partnership with DC HR Leads and DC Leadership, plan, organize, and deliver all activities associated with recruitment and initial on-boarding of Exempt and non-Exempt Distribution associates. Manager will lead a team of Staffing Specialists located in each DC (except our Utah Distribution Center). The Leader with ensure that the Distribution Center talent strategy is aligned with the business strategy as well as bring innovative and aligned initiatives to increase the quality of hires, while reducing spend and absenteeism levels and increasing retention. Additionally, this role will foster and maintain relationships with our external contracted staffing partners, local colleges and universities and community organizations that are aligned with Sephora’s principles-based culture and core values. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify with Distribution Center Leaders our annual Labor needs and develop workforce sourcing strategies to deliver, accordingly Manage candidate experience from beginning to end – sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, applicant tracking, and onboarding for non-exempt and exempt-level positions Identify longer-term strategies to have a ready pool of candidates for critical roles Work more closely with hiring managers to gain understanding of their unique hiring needs and supporting their efforts to source and hire the best candidates in the market Collaborate with the business to identify talent needs and develop sourcing & workforce planning strategies Create and execute unique and effective sourcing strategies to find and engage passive talent, including social media, resume databases, industry contacts, professional networks, etc. Screen suitable candidates to gauge skills, interests and motivations and present job opportunities to relevant candidates. Communicate our company culture, corporate values, and total rewards package to candidates Lead significant recruitment-related projects. Drive offer process, partnering with hiring managers, compensation and HR. Serve as a talent advisor and liaison between candidates, Hiring Managers and HR partners throughout the recruiting process, including include support with Job Fair/Networking events, internship programs, training, reference checks, background checks, etc. Ensure that detailed interview feedback from hiring managers and candidates is captured to help identify, determine, and select the most qualified candidates. Provide talent assessment training and feedback to the hiring teams as needed. Create innovative recruitment tools to increase the quality of hires. Serve as a primary liaison between the business and our external staffing partners (i.e. agencies) to ensure adherence to our MSAs, manage the level of service, and partner to fill open positions. Develop targeted relationships with colleges and universities, technical schools and relevant community organizations to increase DEI and “tough to recruit” pipeline of talent. Coach, develop, engage and manage performance of team of Staffing Specialists working in varied Distribution Centers. Skills and Characteristics Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems and relentless drive to find, engage and connect with top talent. Proven experience to create and maintain pipeline for hard to fill roles. Effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers at all levels. Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills with ability to work within an ambiguous environment. Work remotely while collaborating as a team. Ability to deliver amazing experience to every candidate you engage. Sound judgment and discretion; able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Possess excellent verbal, written and public speaking communication skills Professional, with the ability to communicate with external and internal customers at all levels Ability to plan, organize and work with minimal supervision Analytical skills – ability to pull reports, interpret data, and summarize with key insights for action planning Must be flexible and adaptive to proactively respond to a fast-paced environment. Adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to creatively connect with passive candidates Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience/Education Required Minimum 5 years of experience with full cycle recruiting, developing various recruiting strategies and selection techniques College Degree preferred Have led a team or possesses strong influencing and leadership skills In depth knowledge of industry practices & standards, as well as an eye on trends and future opportunities Working at Sephora’s Distribution Centers (DCs) It’s one thing to create experiences, but the key is delivering them.
