Competitive Pay - starting wage is based on your prior experience

Responsibilities & Expertise Required:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspections.
  • Comprehensive understanding of tow truck systems, including winches, cables, and hydraulic lift mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and their complex components.
  • Expertise in hydraulic systems integral to tow truck operations.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication for repairs and modifications.
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Competence in using computer-based diagnostic tools and software.
  • Efficient time management to prioritize tasks and complete repairs promptly, especially in emergency situations.
  • Physical capability to handle demanding tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in challenging conditions.
  • Mastery of a wide range of tools, both hand and specialized equipment, used in towing and mechanical repairs.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments on clutches, starters, alternators, brakes, fuel systems, hydraulic cylinders, winches, cables, and cooling systems.

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Knowledge of diesel and gas mechanics.
  • Good physical fitness to meet the demands of the job.
  • Effective communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and fixing vehicle and machinery issues.
  • Must provide own tools.
