Douglas J sets the bar in Cosmetology, Esthiology, & Barbering Education. Our Institutes offer an upscale salon setting – because we know that practicing on actual guests will teach the skills necessary to be successful in professional Salons & Spas. At Douglas J Aveda Institutes & Salons we are seeking a Guest Services Associate to help us ensure our guests have the best experience possible.

About the position: 

We’re seeking a Guest Services Associate who enjoys making our guests’ day exceptional. You will help cultivate our guests’ experience by:

  • Providing a smooth check in and check out from their service(s)
  • Scheduling appointments and managing guest flow throughout the day
  • Assisting with retail recommendations and purchases
  • Performing Aveda Rituals of Renewal, such as the hand and arm massage
Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • A serving heart and a charismatic, approachable personality
  • High level of comfort using computers and a cash register, with the ability to learn new systems efficiently and effectively
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
