Job Summary:

Empire is looking someone to step into a leadership role in our sports netting team. This position requires a construction minded individual who is able to travel to sports venues across the country and install netting. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, great leadership skills and detail oriented.

Empire installs netting systems for Major League, Minor League, college, high school and city ball parks all across the country.

Empire pays for employee hotels when traveling and also pays $40/day per diem on top of your salary.

Empire is one of the fastest growing netting and fence installing companies in the country. We offer year-round employment, and exciting growth opportunities for the right individuals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a team with a positive attitude
  • Coaching and teaching the skills of the trade
  • Follow job plans and blueprints
  • Install large diameter poles
  • Hang cables and nets from poles
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

· High school or equivalent is required

· US work authorization is required

· Valid driver’s license is required, CDL is a plus

· Exhibit regular and prompt attendance

· Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

· Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting

· Willing to work M-F with weekends and overtime when needed

· Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools

· Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.

Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
This position offers a complete benefit package, including 401k, health, life, vision and dental insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
