Responsibilities
  • Quote, present and explain insurance policy/coverage options based on client needs and personal goals.
  • Actively listen to the clients objections and concerns. Address the clients concerns carefully, clearly, and professionally.
  • Advise clients on suitable insurance policies depending on their needs and objectives. Close sales effectively.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity.
  • Utilize various computer programs to quote, update and make changes to policies, and service renewals.
  • Ensure consistent and prompt communication with clients to address their needs and concerns to ensure retention standards.

Requirements
  • Must have an active New York Property and Casualty License.
  • Must have a proven track record in the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry to be considered.
  • Be able to navigate and leverage the agency management system (Applied EPIC) to access client information, process policies, and manage insurance-related tasks efficiently.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail when reviewing policies, contracts, and client data to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of accuracy.
  • Assess incoming tasks, requests, and inquiries to determine their level of urgency and importance, effectively managing time and resources to meet client needs.
  • Ambitious self-starter who can work in a collaborative environment.
  • Communicate effectively through written and verbal means, both with clients and team members, to provide clear, concise, and informative responses.
