Boring Mill operator 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand detail drawings and assembly drawings, including knowledge of GD&T
  • Machine setup, testing, and inspecting experience.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches to machine and check parts.
  • Safely move and handle large weldment and parts.
  • Set up and operate complex, precision machining jobs with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling
  • Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Minimum 2 years machining experience preferred.
  • Programming experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated skill working in a team environment.
  • Must have a positive attitude
