A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD MECHANIC
This position involves scheduling fleet repairs and maintenance, supervising and mentoring technicians, managing parts inventory, and coordinating with vendors. You'll inspect vehicles, assist with repairs, order parts, and handle logistics for pick-up and delivery. Responsibilities also include estimating repair costs, operating equipment safely, maintaining service records, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Adherence to company policies and effective communication with staff and the Fleet Manager are essential, along with performing additional duties as needed.
