Job Description
  • Implement, administer, and utilize cybersecurity tools, systems, and applications.
  • Develop and enforce policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure secure enterprise-wide operations, performance, and resiliency.
  • Deploy, administer, and support security systems and infrastructure, including:
  • Endpoint protection
  • Intrusion detection and prevention systems
  • Application layer and traditional firewalls
  • Vulnerability management tools and forensic utilities
  • Oversee the infrastructure managed by the Information Security Office.
  • Develop strategies to safeguard information against unauthorized access, modification, and destruction.
  • Ensure organizational continuity of operations.
  • Monitor, research, and respond to cybersecurity-related events and incidents, such as:
  • Malicious code detection
  • Intrusion detection
  • System configuration issues
  • Patch management
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits.
  • Validate that system functionality and security controls comply with policies and industry best practices.
  • Lead organization-wide cybersecurity training and outreach programs.
  • Stay current with industry developments, standards, trends, evolving technologies, and cybersecurity threats and risks.
