Sheet Metal Cost Estimator Position Summary:We are currently seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Cost Estimator to contribute to our projects and initiatives. As a key team member, you will play a vital role in determining cost estimates for sheet metal projects, ensuring efficiency and meeting quality standards. We Offer a Great Benefits Package:

Shift times for this position: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate quotations as assigned, demonstrating attention to detail and industry expertise.
  • Assess and select the most efficient tooling solutions to meet customer volume, quality, and part-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to optimize project outcomes.
  • Participate in both internal and external quote review meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to decision-making processes.
  • Source vendor pricing directly from external suppliers or collaborate with Purchasing for support in procurement activities.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a sheet metal cost estimator, showcasing expertise in cost analysis and project estimation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel for accurate data analysis and reporting.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Have experience in automotive production and/or prototype sheet metal, with familiarity in automotive OEM tooling forms.
