Provides Corporate Estimating Support to all districts.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Reports to the Vice President of Estimation.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Generally, field operations will be coordinated with the Regional Operations Manager and all other activities are coordinated with the Project Manager. Specific responsibilities are detailed below:

* Prepare quantity take-offs.
* Determine initial production rates.
* Develop initial resource requirements.
* Solicit material and subcontractor pricing.
* Establish preliminary project schedules.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE

Educational and experience requirements include: 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations technical training and/or related experience. 5-8 years estimating, cost control, and/or engineering experience (al least 4 years estimating experience) in similar facility construction. Thorough knowledge of company procedure, estimating techniques, all engineering disciplines, cost control systems and accounts required. Ability to estimate all types of projects/contracts, plus ability to coordinate and supervise group work effort essential.
