Our care teams travel directly to patients who reside in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Group Home communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Florida and are supported by clinical operations and administrative colleagues who work remotely or at our corporate offices in Stillwater, Minnesota, and Tampa, Florida.

Position Overview:

The IT Support Intern will gain experience working with Bluestone Physician Services’ dynamic healthcare organization that specializes in providing on-site primary care services to elderly and disabled patients. This position will assist IT staff with tasks such as configuring, deploying, and inventory of computer equipment. Other duties may include assisting users with technical issues/questions and creating technical documentation.

Number of Interns: 1

Schedule: 30-40 hours per week for the summer with the potential to extend part-time during the school year. Regular business hours.

Location: In office: Downtown Stillwater, MN (201 2nd Street North Stillwater, MN 55082)

Salary: $19-$21 per hour. Salary will be commensurate with education & experience.

Benefits: None as a temporary employee

Responsibilities:

  • Setup and provisioning of iOS and Windows devices
  • Assist in IT equipment refresh project
  • Ensure accurate tracking of assists as they move through the organization
  • Assist with developing technical documentation and user guides
  • Assist with providing end user support on technical issues and questions
  • Provide assistance by phone, email and/or using a ticket management system
  • Track issues to resolution
  • Support computers, laptops, tablets, smart phones, printers and applications

Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and have good computer knowledge and experience
  • Computer Hardware Experience
  • Experience working with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with software installations and configurations
  • Experience setting up iOS and Windows devices
  • Basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to be given instruction/direction and work independently
