Spring Valley in Jackson, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the general mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair of all Spring Valley equipment.
Job Overview:
• Preventative maintenance and repairs on engines, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
• Troubleshooting malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation
• Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop tools and equipment.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories, placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed:
• Able to work under pressure
• Ability to get along and work with co-workers
• Problem solving skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Previous experience, degree, or knowledge in blueprint reading, schematics, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, engines, maintenance/repair of heavy equipment/machines, etc.
• Ability to lift over 50lbs
• Comfortable using ladders and working at heights up to 90 feet
• Have reliable transportation to get to and from work
• This position will require standing, walking, speaking, hearing, seeing, use of hands, climbing, wearing safety equipment..
Shift:
• 2nd shift (2:15pm-12:45am) Monday - Thursday
Pay:
• $22-$27/hr starting pay depending on skills and experience.
• Additional $1.00 per hour shift premium for working 2nd shift.
• Daily Production Bonus (paid bi-weekly, which averages an additional $3-$8/hour)

• 1 week of PTO and paid holidays available after day 1

This position will require sitting, standing, walking, lifting 50lbs, stooping, climbing, seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, reading, tolerance to cold or warm temperatures based on the weather conditions.
