Title: IT PMP Azure Dev Ops
Client: Energy Oil & Gas company
Location: Houston, Texas (on-site)
Type: Contract (12 months)
Pay: $85-90/hour W2 DOE
Summary:
- PMP certified is a hard requirement.
- This is an onsite role, and candidates must be within the Houston, Texas area.
- Candidate must be U.S. citizen, U.S resident and/or green card holder.
- Maintain, and update team's plan in Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Provide overall project management support with the objective to enhance project execution.
- Collaborator with multiple business units, and support Program Owner and Workstream Leads.
- Ensure PMO processes / playbook and ways of working stablished by the project are followed during the project lifecycle
- Coordinate Scrum and as the key driver and owner for project meetings such as: Daily Standup, Weekly, SteerCo, etc.
- Follow up on key action items that come out from these meetings and assist to bring them to closure.
- Generate and communicate project updates internally and externally as required.
- Facilitate escalation issues and critical risks to program leadership.
- Maintain RAID log ensuring key dependencies and decisions are communicated to the Project Team
- Capture comprehensive meeting notes, highlights and action items that properly articulate what was discussed in the meetings.
- Facilitate, and drive program workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
- Prepare and update program presentations in PowerPoint with Excel graphs and charts.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Project Management experience; Energy Oil & Gas preferred but not required.
- A PMP certification is a hard requirement with no exceptions.
- Versed and experienced with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Acclimated to working in fast-paced environment; energetic, driver, sense of ownership and urgency around critical path tasks.
- Presentation skills are a must with the ability to communicate with medium to large teams
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint and MS Project, BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- PMP Certification is required
