Vision Financial Group, a dynamic, holistic wealth management firm, is seeking a FINRA Series 7/66 licensed retirement plans subject matter expert to serve as a Retirement Plans Relationship Manager. You will be working with financial advisors and retirement plan sponsors to assist with the success of plan implementation and operation. This role focuses primarily on qualified retirement plans; the ideal candidate will also understand other wealth management strategies. Strong communication and coordination skills are crucial for success.


Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Meeting with retirement plan clients of simple to moderate complexity to ascertain their financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses, and assets
  • Assisting with the sale and servicing of retirement plans using financial information and knowledge of current legislation
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and financial advisors using professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Educating clients and financial advisors on products and services available to help them best utilize their plans and achieve important monetary goals
  • Meeting customer expectations with accurate, efficient, courteous, and professional service
  • Researching and recommending investment opportunities for clients
  • Offering strategic advice regarding fiduciary responsibilities
  • Performing market research to stay current with trends
  • Maintaining compliance with all rules and regulations in the retirement plan and financial advisory industries
  • Utilizing proper security processes to protect confidential information
  • Completing all mandatory training in a timely manner, including continuing education for FINRA licenses


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related area of study
  • Valid FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required; CPFA or similar retirement plan-focused certification highly desired
  • 2+ years of retirement plan administration is highly desired
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification is a plus
  • Strong understanding of investments and retirement plan investment management strategies/analysis
  • Self-starter, problem solver, goal-oriented, and a team player
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills required


Physical Requirements

  • Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in an office environment
  • Working on a computer for extended periods of time
  • Lifting up to 15 pounds
